Is saying "Yes" the only way to stop getting these ?

So I'm thinking that the only way to stop this madness is to actually go and interview there with the intention of completely bombing the interview.

Post ideas below on how I should fuck up said interview.

ISA
Dear Interwebs.
Why are people _still_ filing bugs relating to ISA cards ?
Is there a part of the planet stuck in 1996 that I don't know about ?

Please make my pain stop.

Thanks.

Pet hate #728394: People uploading zipped attachments to bugzilla, that make me download them locally, and unzip only to find a single .txt file inside, which I could have viewed in my web browser.

And don't get me started on the people that zip up jpeg's...

So before I can fly back to England to get my new sticker, I have to arrange an appointment. Easy enough right ?
Not so! The US Embassy in London (and possibly other parts of the world) is a premium rate phone number. (Hey, if you can make money off of people without trying too hard, why not?). Problem being UK premium rate numbers can't seem to be called from the US. Weak.
They even realise this, and have a helpful "You can get a friend or relative to call on your behalf" message on their website.
So I've arranged for someone to do so.

Now I wait to find out when I can actually go.

In other good news, I enquired about my green card application. "They're currently processing November 2002 applications".
Wow. I guess I'm in for quite a few more VISA renewals before I get me one of those.

For the love of beer, someone please buy this journo some clue.

With each mention of ATI's drivers in the press my blood boils.

"I remember the agony and hair-pulling exercise of dealing with video drivers under Linux. That's why I made a habit of installing proprietary drivers"

GARG.
